Hi,
I use this computer as a back up, but I still use the integrated air feature. My question is, if the battery dies, will the air gauge still work as it is digital. Or maybe better to get a seperate gauge for air,

It will not. You can certainly get an SPG if you'd like, but it sounds like you have redundant air integrated computers running? Seems enough to me and an SPG not necessary, but you should make your own decision as to risk tolerance.
 
Thanks, The Aqualung is my only integrated unit and sole pressure gauge,
 
Nothing digital will work without either a battery or solar power.
