Good evening
My aqualung Air source 3 red button is broken (15264 OI Button)
Does anyone know where to buy this spare part?

Greetings from afar

I recently repaired two with the identical problem.
The button has been re-engineered for better shaft strength and a new screw.
It took me five months waiting from Aqualung for a new part. Aqualung's financial difficulties may make this overly complex integrated octo an orphan.

The part # for what you circled is 15241 (Button w/screw)...this part number fixed a running change with the screw that threads into the back of the button.

The color of the button changed to grey sometime between 2016 and 2017, with an associated part # of 15264 (OI Button, Grey) and 15187 (Screw)

Aqualung eventually changed the schema of their part #s so on the current version of the Airsource 3, the button is grey and is part # BC911328 (OI Button, Grey). The diagrams show slight variations to the parts behind the button, but I don't know if that has any affect on how things fit together, so the following information is offered, as you might need to change the following parts as well:
VS900051 (Spring)
VS900013 (Plate)
RG911848 (O-ring)
VS900043 (Oral Seal Kit)
VS900038 (Screw)

Here is a source for the current button (BC911328 / 15624):

Here's what happened. In 2022, I bought a service kit from an online shopping website (www.WaterSafety.shop), thinking that it would solve the problem. But when I got the product, I found that the actual product was very different from the picture, and there was no button I needed. So I wrote an email to ask, but I haven't received a reply yet
This is frustrating : (

Thanks for the info!
If you need to replace so many parts like you said, it will be a nightmare : (

According to the Aqualung spare parts catalog(s), Aqualung had temporarily included the replacement button and screw in the service kits for the Airsource 3:

The 1st version AirSource 3 was produced from 2008 to 2011, and overlapped with the 2nd version which was put on the market in 2010 until at least 2023 (thats the latest spare parts catalog that I have), possibly more recent. The main change between the 2 versions was the older version had a cut-off switch/valve at the hose/inflator connection. This was phased out between 2010 and 2011.

The note above appeared in the dealer/spare parts catalogs from 2010 (Possibly 2009, I don't have that catalog) and was removed by the publication of their 2017 dealer/spare parts catalog (I don't have the 2015 or 2016 catalog to check those years).

Given the above, it would be quite surprising that a shop/service center has any service kits with the button included 9+ years after Aqualung ceased temporarily including it in the kits.

Your profile says you are in asia, I would reach out to @buddhasummer to see if he can help you source the list of parts in my previous post....you might only need the button and screw.

Do you mean that there was a button in the previous service kit, but it was removed later? Sorry, the translation software is not so good, sometimes I can't understand you accurately, yes I am in Asia, thank you for your help!

What it means is this:
Due to a problem with the button on the original Airsource 3, Aqualung temporarily included a new button and screw in the service kit. At some point in time, Aqualung stopped including the button and screw in the service kit.

Now I understand. I guess it might be because the website hasn’t updated the pictures?
