Hello people Im fairly nw to scubaboard just wanted to tell everybody hey anyone know anything about aqua zoo in fort lauderdale heard it was awsome

We just dove it a cuple weeks ago, and I thought it was pretty cool. Its an over turned barge with about 30ft relief, and piles of concrete tubes off to the side. The barge has no bottom, so you can swim in and out of it at will. Lots of life on the wreck too, as soon as we hopped in we saw jewfish, a huge green moray, sea turtle, and a big sting ray came to check us out. They used to do feedings there, so the sea life is friendly.

I have some pics up at http://northfloridadiver.net/media/ftl305.htm

It's ok for a barge, but it is just a barge. Some people call it the aquazoo, but it's actually the Sea Emperor (AKA Sea Empress).

I appreciate the help someone asked my experience 25 dives just got Nitrox certified in process of doing advanced open water so any recommendations very helpful

Literally swimming distance from the Sea Emperor are two interesting wrecks - the United Caribbean and the Noula Express. I'd recommend either over the SE.

The Sea Emperor is a fine wreck if you want to see some large Grouper and several Sting Rays, a very friendly Green Moray and other creatures hiding in the culvert pipes along side the barge. When fish feeding was allowed there were up to a dozen rays that would circle the area looking for food while divers were in the area, now maybe one or two will show up but nice to see them up close.
