Finally, I made my decisions! Aqua-lung Legend LX supreme, LX octo, Sunnto dial Gauges, Because I wear My Vyper on my wrist, And Seaquest Pro OD+. Its taken alot of time, alot or research and help from you all....Thanks. It seemed to me the turning point came when a divemaster in my area informed me that she Owns the Legend and switched from her Apeks 100! As mush as the Apeks line is defended here to find someone that bought a new Legend meant alot to me. My first impression with the Legend line is the first stage is built like a brick @#$%house! Alot of durability! The second stage seemed to be constructed better than the s600! I appreciate that my entire gear package is manufactured by the same company but not a main factor in my decisions! I plan to give out a review in the comming weeks because there seems to be little info on the legend line. Thanks again for all the opinions you left me!....Eric

Congratulations. I've heard the Legend regs are real nice. I considered one myself last fall before they actually came out but I couldn't wait so I just bought an Apeks.

I dive with the Aqualung LX Legend and LX octo. It's a great reg that breathes great at depth and at the surface. I've brought it down to about 100 ft and noticed no difficulty breathing. Enjoy the reg, it's a good one.

I think I posted this elsewhere but when we went to purchase a setup for my wife she had wanted to get an Apeks like mine but the Aqua lung caught her eye and after some research she too went the way of the Legend.....breathes very close if not identical to the Apeks. The LDS that we do business with basically said either way your getting top of the line gear.
I do like the smaller dimension of the Aqua lung Legend LX Octo and she is sporting a Vyper too....

I got a lower-end model on the reg, but I got the LX Octo & have found it effective when the chips are down. Good product!
