So I'm finally biting the bullet and buying 2 hp 80s (wife) and 2 hp 100s (me). The problem is both of our rigs are yoke and I'll need to convert them to din. I bought them used in 2011 and have no idea about the age. One of my LDS has the din conversion for her sherwood since he removed it and put the yoke on. Can anyone help me ID this Titan and maybe the correct conversion kit? Thanks.

You have a 1999-2008 series Aqualung Titan 1st stage. I am not 100% sure but I think, based on your serial #, that your reg was made in 2002.

The original DIN adapter kit for your 1st stage is Aqualung part # 103172, it was eventually replaced by DIN adapter kit part # 103174.

Either will work if you can find one. From my understanding, neither kit is available anymore from Aqualung, but those part numbers should help you with a google/ebay search.

I would also reach out to buddhasummer , as he can often source hard to find parts from his resources in Japan.

Bad news I'm afraid, note the red "NLA". Looks like finding used might be your only option. I'll make inquiries anyway just in case.

Hello, why do you have to swicth to DIN ? Yoke is OK for 232 bar.

It not older PST 3500 psi tanks (300 BAR DIN), I would just swap in a 232 BAR "pro-valve" and then use the plug for yoke. Modern yoke is fine with 3442 pressures.

As others have said, you don’t need DIN for HP tanks, with a few exceptions but if you want DIN it will be easier to just find some newer first stages in DIN, SP firsts (with a few exceptions, like the first MK 2 and the mk5) all use the same DIN part and it’s cheap (Only SP thing that is cheap).

I was looking at dgx and they only offered a 200 bar yoke plug to go in their 232 din valve. I figured if it wasn't available at 232 there then it wouldn't likely be elsewhere

Just get new valves
