Has anyone got any experience/review on this BC? I'm kinda interested in it, and Rodale's gave it a thumbs up, but I need more than one opinion. Thanks.

make sure it has trim pockets. Also' make sure that integrated weights are retained without the possibility of falling out if any velcro wears out or gets dirty.

I've got one- like it a lot.

I used one in my cert. classes........worked great to learn on. It's a good, funcitonal BC. If you have the money to do so, I would look at some others, possibly a back-inflate version (the patriot and malibu rds are a few in the aqualung line if you want to look at those). Biggest tip is just to get your hands on as many different bc's as you can and test them out. Good luck.

Used one for a year before I switched to a BP/Wing

Yes, it has 2 5-pound trim pockets on the back.
Total capacity 30 pounds.
Still uses the Velcro RDS system... this was one thing that scared me... back on the boat and kelp had opened the dumps more than once... never lost weight. My buddy added 1" QRs to them so they operate more like the Halcyon ACB.

Nice BC... as far as stab jackets go. I couldn't recommend it any more or any less than any other stab jacket. Two years ago I would have given a glowing review.
