Hey divers, was curious if anyone is familiar with this reg. It was my first reg purchased and with a yoke. I'd like to convert it to DIN and use it with my new PST E8-130, HP 3442 PSI.

Anyone know what pressure it can handle with DIN. The yoke fitting says 3000 PSI where-as my DS4 DIN says 300 bar. I would like to convert the Legend to a DIN and run redundant firsts on an H valve.

The Legend 2nd stage breathes not bad with the DS4 first but like a dream with the Legend first stage.

This reg also has a lifetime warranty provided I keep up with the regular annual service. Do you think Aqua Lung would give me any warranty grief if I replace the yoke with a DIN myself? It's not like I have to dis-assemble anything other than 1 large nut.

Appreciate any input. Happy diving all,
UM

Most DIN's are 300 bar (including the Legend DIN), and you wont lose your warranty by changing it to DIN. If you dont feel comfortable changing it out, bring it to your LDS, and they can do it for you.

Thanks Lubold. No worries doing the work myself provided there's no warranty grief. Now to locate the DIN fitting ASAP, the local quarry could be calling this weekend.
