I received this regulator from a friend and am taking it in for service tomorrow. He received it from a friend of his. I am guessing it's still fine since he said it worked fine and after the service tomorrow I'd bet it still works great.

i've used various incarnations of the conshelf since 1978. i still have an se2 which i now use as a reserve / backup to a jetstream.
excellent regs. reliable. but make sure you have it checked / serviced by a qualified technician- especially the HP seat. no telling how much wear and tear / rough use it's been through.

I have two Conshelf XIV's I've been using for years - Finnaly upgraded to a set of DS4's, but the conshelf is still a favorite reg. so easy to service and bombproof construction. will hang on to these and turn them into Student regs for many more years.
