Has anybody used the Aqua Angel pony mount? Any opinions of it's quality and/or reliability? How does it compare to the Quick Draw and other mounts?

Thanks!

I've never seen one.
Do you have a link to a website?
I have yet to find a pony bottle mount that is all around perfect.

Presently I have my pony in a nylon bag that velcros to any strap but that of course allows it to move a bit too much for my liking.

I personally can't see the point. You mount it on the tank, but make it easy to remove? So someone else can take it, but you can't? Why not just sling the pony? It looks like an overly-engineered solution to a non-problem, or at least a solution to a problem that I don't have when I sling a pony.

Never used it. Not really knocked out by the design.

The price seems a lot for a plastic part, I think I paid $20 (1/3) for a remora, made of metal and it holds the pony closer to the tank.

Is your remora pretty stable? What size pony bottle are you using with it?

Thanks!

Spend your money on a bigger bottle and make a clamp, and a sling
for twenty bucks.

I use it on a 13. I have a 6 I have mounted on it, but don't use it often as it is too small for my diving.

I also have a 40 which I sling. On dives that I want the 40, I don't want it back mounted and I don't think a single point of attachment would be stable enough for a tall bottle.
