Had a great time in Tobago over April of 2007. We dove with Redman and stayed in Charlotteville. My trip report can be found by clicking here. There are two parts to the report, part I deals with our time at the Asa Wright Nature Center in Trinidad. If you just want to read about the diving, skip to part II of the report.

lbr,
thank you so much for the wonderful report.
you could provide a service for other divers to write their trips.
great photos with a ton of info.
your style of writing makes it read like a story which is a joy to read.
i'm diving in st lucia 2 weeks from now.
how much would you charge me for my report?
regards,

Nice report. Tobago is one of the least understood dive destinations by North Americans. You did a good job of showing that it is more than just interesting diving.

When I go on dive trips, all I want is to dive-dive-dive. Tobago is an island where I make an exception to that rule. The island and it's people are a wonderment. Thaks for the great bird pix ! (And you also "enjoyed" the Chukalaka birds!)

Glad to hear you met and dove with RedMan.

Thanks for the comments, I posted the report because I found similar reports on the scubaboard very helpful in planning trips.

RoatanMan, I think I first read about Redman in one of your reports, so thanks for that info. He was great to dive with and made us laugh with his numerous jokes. Yes, the Chachalaca has one of the more obnoxious bird calls!

Smokey Braden, I hope to see your report on St. Lucia soon, sadly my day job keeps me too busy to help you write a report :)

Great report. Brings back a lot of memories of my trip to Asa Wright and Speyside a couple of years ago. Watching the Leatherbacks nesting on Matura Beach was an absolutely fantastic experience.

Hey tel52, I had bookmarked your Tobago report on the "other" scuba site before we left and that is what got me interested in pursuing the Leatherback turtle viewing. Thanks for the tip!
