JFYI, a college student on a tight budget does not buy Apollos, they are nearly the most expensive fins around second to the Force Fins. They are great but are you sure they are right for you?
Have you even tried them or for that matter a split fin in the first place?
Please don't feel that I'm imposing on you but spending $150 on a piece of gear you might not like is like getting a slow Ferrari. You'll keep using it because it's crap but you just can't stand getting rid of it cus it cost too much in the first place.
Get a cheaper fin like the Sporasub Twinns, Scubapro Jets (XL from EBay bout $45),
AERIS Velocity Duo or the Velocity. It won't hurt as bad if you hate the fins.
