Hi All
I have a apollo av-1 scooter :)
The batteries are 199.00 on leisure pro :-(
The batteries are 12v 24ah sealed type.
I have found about 24 12v 26ah I can get for free!!
Will these work in my scooter? will it hurt it?
They are the same size and type.
Thanks Rick L

I don't think they will hurt it, they will just last slightly longer. I'd assume they are bigger so they might not fit.

They are the same size as the 24 ah batteries.
There is a apollo av-1 scooter with 26ah batteries for sale on ebay now.
So im quessing it will work ok?
Thanks for answering me!!
I cant wait to get this out into the ocean :)

And couse no damage.
As Burner mentiond, they will probably last little longer as well.
You will also need little more time to charge them. If you will tell how long it take to charge the 24aH I can probably calculate the extra needed time to charge the 26aH.

Hi
Can I buy one of those batteries from you, Im building one home made scooter.
Thanks Dorta

rick, I have a dpv that i need the same size battery and wondered if you would consider selling a few? Please reply!!!!!!!

They should work fine that is what I use.... they might be slightly more negative, heavy than you're used to

I thought AV-1 uses same batteries used in wheelchairs, and they cost $60/each in the local auto parts store....I will check on that

Powersonic in Redwood City, CA is where Apollo used to get the batteries when they were also in Redwood City. I don't know if Pwersonic is still there, but they are still in business and I am sure you can find a local distributor.
