dear caloy,
ur so lucky to see the baracudas. kami ni allen, wala kaming nakita. wer luckier at apo, we saw the 2 schools of jacks. we saw the first school at around 70 ft, the other at 40 ft. visibility is quite good.

mike

These are the pics taken from Mamsa Point, Apo Island. Its was cloudy so the pics are dark. You are virtually guaranteed to see the schools of bigeye travallies (each at least 2 ft in length) even if there is less current.

We also dove the Marine Sanctuary. The corals there are really superb. Will post a couple of pics later.

Our snorkelling families got to see the Clownfish City.

Pards, ang kapal ng bakod! hahahaha ang dami!!!!

Pics from Apo's marine sanctuary. The pajama cardinal fish (pic #3) is always there hiding (see pic #2). Other fish we saw: banded sea snake, sea turtle, garden eels, huge puffer fish, flounder (pic #9).

Topside pics of Apo Island. That gorge just behind the boat on the 2nd pic is the pathway to the other side where Apo Island resort is located. On the rightside (of the same pic) is Paul's Diving & Liberty Lodge and the village. The last pic is Apo Island Beach Resort.

.... One can never escape the billboards. :05:

Any idea what these two creatures are? The first one is between those sea cucumbers (is that a mollusk?). The second one (black thing) is very smooth to our touch.

Yung second is a cowrie ata. The first one? What else?! It's a shell cooked in coconut milk, sucked in (sinipsip, tumulo pa sa bibig) by a diver having lunch onboard a boat and thrown back into the sea.

I hope you also dived Coconut Point, its their version of Mainit. The Chapel is also nice with its really really really deep dramatic drop off

Great pictures mate...

Are you sure? :06: That makes it one more shell for a hermit crab.
Well it was a good throw. I thought the sea cucumbers were guarding it with their lives.
