I recently serviced my apex DST and now it seems to have a squealing/ vibration noise when inhaling heavily. Does anyone have ideas on why?

It appears the harmonic noise that you are hearing is air getting underneath the main spring. Sanding the ends of the spring will help prevent air from getting underneath it, preventing the harmonic sound. .

I would consider changing the O-Ring AP1299 (size 006) to a harder duro 90 or Viton before sanding any parts.

If you didn't service it yourself, take it back to the LDS to have them fix it.
