After only 45 dives I’ve noticed the SS backplate is cutting into the webbing on my harness in three spots. Both shoulder and one on the waist. Right side shoulder cut 1/4”. Anyone else experiencing this? The edges of the backplate are not rounded and I don’t see a way to prevent this from happening.
 
Easy fix as suggested, smooth the edges, you’ll likely not live long enough for the straps to fail even as is but it shouldn’t be happening.
 
Smoothing edges should do the trick.

If you are a belt and suspenders type, could add some sleeves on the webbing as well to provide some additional wear area. Probably unnecessary if you go through the efforts of smoothing/filing the edges.
