Short answer:
NO THEY CANNOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY FOR USING (or not using) A SPECIFIC BRAND OF REPLACEMENT PARTS. If they want to limit that option, they would be required to provide those replacement parts free to the consumer.
While I do not remember who the onus of proof lies with, **IF** the replacement parts cause a failure in the original product, then obviously the original warranter is not liable for remediation of that damage.
to quote the United States Code:
c) Prohibition on conditions for written or implied warranty;
waiver by Commission
No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or
implied warranty of such product on the consumer's using, in
connection with such product, any article or service (other than
article or service provided without charge under the terms of the
warranty) which is identified by brand, trade, or corporate name;
15 USC 2302(c)
commonly referred to as the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, as enacted in 1975
