Can someone recommend a brand of wrench is narrow enough for removing the apeks tek3 diaphragm clamp? i'm like 3 wrenches deep but so far all of them are too wide and contact the threads for the environmental seal cap.

The wrench is listed as part AT47 in the service manual: 34mm open ended spanner - Removal of TEK3 Diaphragm Clamp

I just bought a cheapo crow's foot and cut down the width with an angle grinder/cutting disc. IMG_2911.jpgIMG_2912.jpgIMG_2913.jpgWorks great!

Thickness!

This thread has reminded me to once again recommend the excellent Knipex ‘pliers wrench’ for scuba applications. Parallel sided jaws grip very well, it tends to not mark up chrome at all, and the jaws are very thin.

It comes in various sizes, but the 180mm version extends out to 40mm, and the jaws are 8mm wide, which seems like would work well for this particular application. They also work a treat for the narrow flats on the heat exchanger of an Apeks 2nd stage, for loosening off the hose.
