So I decided to service my own regs, and was shocked when I found out the prices for the service kits. I figured that since most of them are just Orings, that I'd just go ahead and buy the orings seperately.
Apeks O-rings :: bluebarracuda.org ::
Found that, which lists all the sizes of the Orings used
O-rings Online Frameset
Ordered the Orings there to the tune of like $20 and got 20+ each, so set for a long time.
Apeks 1st Stage High Pressure Seat
Got the High Pressure seat there, and the Diaphragm's looked great and didn't need to be replaced *held em up to the light and no light spots or anything
So, no HP Seat or Diaphragm on the 1st stage, and no Rubber Seat on the second stage. Neither of which look like they actually need to be replaced on a yearly basis if you clean the regs on a regular basis and what not.
No filters.
What I plan on doing is just buying a couple of 1st stage kits and keeping them around, and will have the extra filters and what not in case I actually need to use them. I had success soaking them in hydrogen peroxide and letting them air dry for cleaning, worked quite well.
Make sure to do thorough out of water testing just to be sure. Should be a no-brainer for most people that will be doing this, but just in case
