Hi, does anyone know where I could buy some Apeks bent D-rings? They are made with wire a bit thicker than most other d-rings.

They seem impossible to buy without buying a complete harness.

Any help is appreciated :)

thanks!

Piranha Dive Manufacturing has heavy duty d-rings, they're the 6mm halfway down the page.

Any particular reason you want thicker ones? They're not a failure point...

Extra heavy duty drings might look like a cool, but if you plan to actually clip stuff off to them while diving I look for the thinnest ones you can find. Thicker rings are harder to use. The bolt snap has to be fully open and you have to hit the ring square, no twist between the bolt snap and the ring.

I'd like to try them on a sidemound harness. I find the butt d-ring is sometimes difficult to feel when theres a lot of stuff clipped to it, I'm hoping the slightly larger diameter combined with the bend will make them easier to use.

Bent maybe, but I see no advantage to thicker wire.

DIY bending is quite simple with a vise and a hammer.

Thicker drings is not the answer to your problem. Tobin highlighted an extremly important point when clipping, unclipping equipment. You want things done right the first time, struggling with a clipping process is not good, especially if taskloaded with something else.
