My name is Hector and I live in South Texas. I recently got my open water in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and it was amazing! Some say I was spoiled considering playa has like a 12 mile vis. I kid. I tagged along with my girlfriend and her research team in playa as she is working on her thesis for her Masters in marine biology. I took advantage and got my PADI open water. Hoping to gain more experience and log more dives and eventually get my advanced back in Playa.
