Hello every avid divers aout there,

Could anyone be kind enough as to give me some recommendations on which bcds i should get for my first bcd? Could anyone tell me any legitimate online scuba store which sells reasonable price bcds and would ship it over to an Asian country like Singapore?
Thanks alot in advance for those have replied to my post!!:D

in australia (closer to singapore than the US) Zeagle is my bc of choice and Chris at www.divetub.com.au should look after you. tell him almitywife sent you if you contact him

cheers and goodluck

i dived a zeagle tec for 10yrs and very very happy with the bc

only changed to a zeagle bpw because i lost weight and the tec was too big, otherwise i would still be diving it. we're a big zeagle family :D

cheers

oh i see..ok ok yeah i can see you're a big zeagle fan. So how's the diving in Australia, I'm sure it's beautiful. I really want to head down to australia one day and dive the barrier reefs.

Cheers:D

Funny - I always stopped off in Singapore to buy dive gear: I found it a lot cheaper than Australia and a bit cheaper than Thailand and Malaysia.

The problem with recommendation (on anything) is that unless the individual has owned many bc's, how can they make comparisons? I tend to lean towards the industry test and comparison results, sometimes found in the scuba magazines. I can tell you I love my Zeagle Ranger but there may be bc's out there that I would like better. Get my point? I can also tell you I have noticed that Zeagle has been top rated by the mag's for at least 12 years. The "back" inflation forces you face down on the surface. This is something I do not particularly like.
