Well, Spring Semester is over (4 A's and a B). I'm joining my first Dive Club next week (Southern California Dive Club of the Inland Empire), but until then, I want to get out and dive! So if anyone wants to get out and dive on any of these three days (6/1, 6/2,. 6/3), I would like to buddy up as I don't have enough experience for solo.

In fact, I have only 7 dives under my belt, so you would be diving with a well disciplined, but new diver, which means I would only be up for shallow dives such as Shaw's Cove or the Dive Park.

In any case, if anyone is up for some diving, let me know and we can meet up at a time of your choosing. Please let me know the day before though so I can get the proper gear.

Also, if you have the spare change and want to hit up an open dive boat, i'm all for it too!

Let's get wet!

I wouldn't mind going out, but have been sick for several days now.
Not sure if I'll be in any sort of shape to go in.
Heard Laguna had 20-25' VIS today with a 64 temp.
Dive park is always a fun place and very easy to find a someone to buddy with, esp on a SAt or Sun.
Open boats this Fri are the Magician and Sundiver express. Both fine vessels/captains/ and crew.
Sat. & Sun the sundiver Express goes out as well.
Have fun.

This isn't much of a warning, but I'm game for Saturday.

Let's go with the Sundiver Express.

I get off work early today and am looking or a buddy to go shore diving at Shaws or one of the other coves around 3. Up for doing an afternoon dive?

Sunday 8AM divers from Pacific Wilderness are meeting at Marine Land in Palos Verde.

BTW Congrats on the grades!

Thank you for the info. I don't have to be part of Pacific Wilderness to dive with them?

In any case I had a fun and successful 4 dives at the dive park today. Although I am devastated (tired) as hell. In any case, had a blast and will type up a mini report in a bit. The only thing that will stop me from diving tomorrow is my rental BCD. I rented a BCD from Sports Chalet and it ended up missing an o'ring on one of the dump valve seals, so it would simply leak air instead of filling up. Since the weight was integrated, I had to rent a new BCD and weights, and will be looking for Sports Chalet to refund me the difference on the price I paid for their rentals tomorrow.

I'll probably be getting out to Shaw's on the 10th though with the Southern California Dive Club of the Inland Empire. Maybe a dive in the apartment complex before that. Can I log that as a dive? lol.
