Found in scuba diver magazine online. Looks like they are running some very very strong deals to curaçao.
Anyone used this company before?
Any advice?
Thanks
Wont let me post link since I'm under 5 posts still, but right on the front page in the articles in Scubadiving.com

anybody? I would really like to find out if someone has used them before. It seems like one of those "to good to actually be true" kinda pricing and deal, and I believe these have been run in 08,09, so if anyone could contribute that would be appreciated.

I have used them four times since 2003 to book trips to Bonaire; they're the exclusive NA booking agent for Capt. Don's. I would, and have, recommend them. There have been a couple of minor glitches, but they've been as reliable as I could reasonably expect; stuff happens.

Most recent trip report at http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/abc-islands/359575-trip-report-bonaire-10-19-28-2010-a.html discusses them a little, and similarly for the last trip in 2008, link to that trip report in the most recent.

I have worked with Sauson in the group dept. for about 6 years and always get excellent service. She has helped on trips to Cozumel, Bonaire and North Carolina. I am using them now for some trips and would recommend them. They are alway at DEMA and the other large dive shows.

I've used Maduro a couple times when staying at Habitat, long time ago but they were fine.

I have also used them several times when traveling to Bonaire....thought that they did a good job w/getting me pricing information in a timely manner....when ever I called they always answered all the questions and concerns I had....

Thanks everyone!
Makes me feel a bit better about getting pricing and possibly booking a package through them now?
Would Curacao be a good dive location for a diver with around 25 dives? or should I look at a different island? Would prefer curacao as i have wanted to visit that island for a while but want to make sure it would be a good fit.

yes I think Curacao is a great destination for a newbie diver...little or no current nice reefs.....and that Curacao Now is a great promotion...

Just be sure you are comparing apples to apples no matter who you use when booking a dive trip. While I have never actually booked through Maduro Dive I did call them once about their advertised price to Cayman Brac because it appeared to be lower than anyone else I could find. But the price they had advertised, in this particular case, did not include taxes, transfers, etc. So by the time that was added in, their price was on par with everyone else. Not any more but not any less either.

They have been in business a pretty long time and appear to be quite reputable. Just make sure of your "final price" before you book with them or anyone else.
