Hello everyone,
just wondering if anyone has used the oxycheq regulator?

how does it perform? does it have any comparison to Apeks or atomic?

thanks in advance.

The regulator is (might be wrong) the same as the Salvo, which in turn is the exact same as the Dive Rite, which many people like. If you ever decide to get into servicing your own regs, DR part kits are easy to come by, and should be interchangable among the regs. As far as i can tell, they are the same, except for the purge cover, so AFAIK, its a good reg.

thanks, i did see at at golemgear, its why i'm asking.. i'm looking to buy an Apeks, but saw this and wanted to compare..

anyone??

If you can wait for a response, my buddy just got one and we are diving tomorrow. Should have a comparison between it and an XTX200 after the dive (He got the Oxycheq for his left post).

Ok, we did a couple of dives today and my buddy compared his oxycheq and his XTX200. He thought it anything the oxycheq delivered more air than his Apex. Note that we were shallow as we only did a couple of shakedown dives with his new wing & BP/W and new reg setup...

He's very happy that he bought the Oxycheq, especially at that price. HTH.

thanks for the feedback, i'm wondering how it would do at good depth.. let me know if he takes it deeper..

Well, it's the same reg as the Salvo. Given that there are folks that use it for tech diving, I'm confident that it will have no issues for anything you do recreationally.

The Salvo breaths as well at 80 as it does at 20.
