Anyone up to diving Tuesday 9.01.09? "Palos Verdes reefs"

My dive buddy is unable to make our weekly Tuesday dive and am wondering if anyone is free to get wet? I'm up to doing pretty much any local spot "Palos Verdes area". All forecasts point to stellar conditions, so we should be graced with good visibility.

High Tide is 9:00am 4.33ft, Low Tide is 2:00pm 2.20ft Since its only a 2ft drop, I am pretty open to diving any time in the earlier part of the day.

If you've never been to any of the PV reefs, you've been missing out. Some of the better reefs are situated at hard access points though. Many of them require hikes down and up steep goat trails. Then the entries themselves can be tricky and surface swims kind of large. I only mention this because not many people are up to these sites, but for me the rewards outweigh the difficulty.

Even if your not up to diving the more difficult accessed sites, we could always go to White Point, Marineland or Malaga. These sites are much easier accessed and still are excellent spots.

I wish I could join you Frank. I am always off on Tuesdays & Fridays, but I have to take the wife to the doctor in the morning. I did some freediving at Christmas tree cove last sunday & tuesday and conditions were very nice. I went out from the south point (sand area) and did the rocks just offshore. Too bad you couldn't have joined the scubaboard "gang" this last Saturday at Catalina aboard the Great Escape, it was great. Besides, I have to rent a AL80 and with your steel 130 I would run out of air much sooner.
