same here... nothing wrong with hanging out with newly minted OW divers... prefer a day of mellow dives for the Anilao... don't want to get myself overly excited and get Jag annoyed by stories of me kicking the coral and get myself deported... (just kiddin)

So how just many coral kicked is the difference between low and high octane diving? :wink:

low octane dive: diver kicks approximately 10 sqm worth of coral in the 1st 3 minutes at depth

high octane dive: diver kicks approximately 20 sqm worth of coral while being dragged in all directions by a wild current

of course this is country specific - some nationalities kick up more or less depending on the amount of jellyfish icecream they have had the night before :wink:
