Friday may be a rain shower but other two days should be fine. Would anyone care to join me for a few dives out of Cape Ann?

Wish I could join you Captain, but I am in Florida this week living the good life and searching for shark teeth in the Venice/Sarasota area!

Nice! Found any?

Hi Captain - We had a great time - 85* every day, sunny most of the time, steady gulf breeze, no humidity, no bugs, 80* water. I wasn't on a dive vacation so I didn't get to go but a couple times. I got to Venice one day for a few hours and did a 1 tank dive. I did get to experience what it's like diving for the teeth. I found a couple small ones and a piece of fossilized bone but spent most of my time concentrating on my own safety and situational awareness - trying to avoid contacting the reef, dealing with a slight current, watching the colorful fishies, etc. I much prefer the diving we have up here though. The Gulf in the Sarasota area is pretty much one giant shallow desert of sand from what they say, with scattered wrecks, artificial reefs, and some small natural reefs that are trying to come back. Apparently a lot of beach restoration and dredging is constantly being done that detroys whatever tries to get a foot hold and build up a reef system. I like our rugged coastline and colorful plantlife.
