I remember reading it a little while back and knew I should have saved a copy then. I don't remember it exactly but I remember the feelings and sense it made to me. And I just can't find it anywhere on here. I am fairly new to using the SB still and haven't got the search criteria down yet, it's kinda crazy random. But I do remember things about it like that the person saved a copy for thier family to read on his comp in a special file or something like that. They said something like "if I should die while diving you can place some blame but not all on my buddy but remember it was an accident and to forgive them they didn't do it on purpose...or something to that effect.
Anyway if you could please send me the thread link or point me in the direction it would be greatly appreciated. It was just to good to not remember and have a copy of. I learned my lesson. Thanks SB!

Damn.

That's one hell of a thread.

I'm copying a lot of the posts and I'll put it together as a single document for my family.

They understand how much diving means to me, but worry every time I hit the water. Maybe this will help them with the worry.

Thanks John for the very quick heads up on this. It's eveb better than memory served. but then isn't it always.

I ride motorcycles and scuba dive, my mother has always stated she worries about me and tells me to be careful. About a year ago I just told her simply "if anything ever happens to me I died doing exactly what I wanted to do. I died with no regrets." She felt some relief, not totally, but at least she had something she could repeat to herself if anything should ever happen to me.
