Anyone on Peace July 6th?

I live in Sacramento, but I am spending 6 weeks in Santa Barbara starting tomorrow thru August 1st. I have signed up for the Thursday Open Boat Dive on July 6th on the Peace to Anacapa. Anybody going? I have 60+ dives, but all have been warm water and this will be my first California diving.

Glycerin is right. I'm on another dive trip that day - otherwise I might join you. Maybe the best all around routine boat experience in SoCal. Peace boat in the one to be on.

Peace is my fave dive boat by far. Can't go that day, but you're going to have a blast!

I started this thread. Today I went on the Thursday "Open Boat" on The Peace out of Ventura. Great boat and an excellent day. We did one dive off of Anacapa and two dives off of Santa Cruz Island. Water temps were 61, 63 and 65 degrees at depth, according to my computer. Viz wasn't too hot, but the diving was nevertheless very good, with a good group of divers. Dolphins on the bow on the way out, numerous harbor seals, a very large Sheep's Head Crab, and a half dozen good sized sting rays. This is a REALLY good dive boat with really good food!
