Hi...my exhaust valve on my CF200X is leaking on some descents. Suit is only 1 year old. Could send back to DUI and wait...but am diving suit all the time. I am a machinist and working on my own gear is of no problem.
Can someone telll me exactly how to remove or take apart the exhaust valve. Figured I better ask if theres any tricks before I tear something up.
I have the low profile valve and was told by a shop in Florida that the low profile valve will do that. They said the valve only has like 3 or 4 ribs inside compared to the high profile valves having like 7 or 8 which makes it stronger. They said the descent is causing the weker one to kind of " suck open" and let water in.
Any ideas or instructions on how to take it apart or remove it? Thanks
