On 1st day of this year, the water temp. was 48 at 60ft(according to Polar Bear Dive Divers), I think it's warmer than normal. But, I'm not sure how I feel that.

And I need check my new wrist seal. and want to meet new Buddies.

I am in Arlington VA and looking forward to my first dive in USA. If you are serious about it we can discuss the logistics. Do they offer full gear rental at Millbrooks?

My favorite dive shop is the VA Scuba, but the operator for Chilly Willy Diving is The Dive Shop. So you can call the stores for rental the equipments you need and some information.

By the way, welcome to Diving in USA. And I'll be at the quarry.

Depending on the weather, I may make it.

If you need equipment, I'd advise you to contact The Dive Shop. AFAIK, they are the ones who will unlock the gate and supervise the diving. They would be your most up to date POC for information, costs, (and equipment).

Here is their website:

Welcome to diving in the USA, (although be advised that warm clear ocean dives off Morehead City, NC offer quite a bit more to most divers than Millbrook Quarry...)

Hey! Doc.

I think we dove together once years ago at Millbrook. If my memory is right, It was your check out diving for new double.

Anyway, Road condition by weather will be my issue. But I'd like to be there, and some of Polar Bear Divers from Capital Diver Club will be there too.
