I've checked out the web site, but things seem a little stagnant there. Just want some feedback on the club. Is it worth getting involved with? :dontknow:

Are you talking about.... Cape Dive Club ?? So they do not exist? Why do you say they suck?

If you click on the "Latest news and Events" link on the front page of their website, they have a notice of a meeting (with a presentation) in late October. That's fairly recent. If you're interested in finding out more about them, I suggest you send them an email.

Websites take time and trouble to update. They are not necessarily the most current picture of a club's activities or status.

Formal clubs (ones with dues, regular meetings, websites, etc.) typically take a lot of work to maintain, and very often have problems finding volunteers to do the work. The problem isn't limited to dive clubs. Many clubs often need whatever help they can get.

In other words, if you email them offering to help with Web publishing you will get a quicker response :rofl3:. I do agree with Joe that often times the status of the clubs website is not indicative of the standing of the club. The website is often an after thought and once published, it is forgotten by many. The same goes for small businesses. Email or Call would be the best way to infiltrate them and to determine the actual club status.
