anyone heard of divetek bc's from cali

hello, i recently went bc shopping and was directed to a bc made by divetek. unfortunatly i have not picked up a catalog and there web site is under construction so it is of no help. ive searched high and low on the net and have found minimal information there also. i dove the bc, which is a back inflator and really liked it. happens of course that is the most expensive bc in the shop. could someone give me a hand here id appreciate it.

One of my dive buddies and I both recently purchased Divetek BC's. It is a great product. Back inflation, integrated ballast system, stainless D rings. Very comfortable unit. A little pricey but I think is is worth it.

I had a 'Divetek' BC back in about '97. I'm not sure if this is the same company but that one was a Real Fullblown POS. After 6 dives I tossed it in the ocean and never missed it, I picked up a zeagle ranger on the way home.
It was a their 'top of the line' BC but it was still only ~ $230

I have a DiveTek BC and I've used it for years. It's tough as hell. It's very well made and it is about the most comfortable BC I've ever had. I have several friends that own them and I've never heard any complaints about them.
