Got mine in the mail. Box says it includes "Assorted Mounting Hardware" but all it had was the housing, lens cover and tether string. Am I missing something? I contacted GoPro but haven't heard back from them. Thanks.

So how are you planning on attaching it to your mask? Also, wondering how GoPro can classify a male clip that requires a female clip to use "Assorted Mounting Hardware". Assorted to me means more than one and at least one complete mount. Still haven't heard from GoPro. Thanks for the responses.
It's just a replacement for the housing that came with the camera, not a whole new setup. Whatever mounting you had before you still have. I know of nothing that will allow you to attach it to your mask. But you can get a headband and wear it above your mask. A headband may have come with your camera, depending on which version you got.

I received the same as FM1520, but I thought the same as the OP, that there should be more "assorted" but just shrugged it off and went diving.

Since they ship it attached to a female clip, they must assume the users are going to clip it into something yet the head strap doesn't utilize a quick disconnect clip system. Was hoping it would be possible to connect it to my mask. The head strap is a pain to put back on underwater under my hood.

GoPro got back to me and said all it is supposed to come with is the female quick clip. When I asked what they expected us to clip it into since we can only really use the head strap (that doesn't use a quick clip), the response was: "The quick clip allows you to clip it into many different available clips". So basically...no answer at all.
