Anyone have any hands on experience with the DS161 strobe? I know the strobe is powerful, but does anyone have any video that was shot with the video light that I can view? I would really like for anyone who has used the DS161 to give me your thoughts. I am currently using two DS51's but I am looking to upgrade.

Have the strobe, but only used it for stills so far and we are brand new to the strobe/dSLR game. I did use it as a light in a chimney swimthrough but not for video yet.

Nice shots. Let me know what you think of the light for video when you get a chance to use it.

As a video light, it isn't going to put the HID guys out of business. The light is a 3 LED 500 lumen light, so similar output to any of the 500 lumen lights. Probably good for some macro work but for wide angle work, you will need something a bit bigger.
