OH and thanks for piping in with out any helpful info on water temps for an Idea of what wet suit I need and what to see.:(

Three things:

1) This is a thread about flying (or not flying) Ryan International, not wetsuits and such.

2) She didn't say anything about that stuff because you didn't ask.

3) We try to be nice to each other in here.

This ain't rec.scuba ... ;^)

water temps this time of year are around 78....I always wear a 3mm full suit...but I am cold natured....so it really depends on what nature you are....plus if a Norte comes through the surface temps can drop and make you cold....

I always fly Ryan air Funjet and other charters never had any problems with weight....the last time was this past Christmas....just print out the baggage allowance and show it to them when you get there if they hassle you....carry on as much weight as allowable....and try and pack light....have fun

Gordon you are too funny :-))

thank you very much that print out is a great idea.
packed the shorty and I maybe unpacking it in the morning at 2:30 am.
let you know in a week how the flights went and I will try and get as much info for others for Ryan air.

I was not trying to me mean just my first post and someone post this always gets me.
if it were not for the price I got I would not have been able to go and do any diving.
Thanks to all the posts as I called Ryan 3 days ago and still no word back from them.

:D i'm not sure if it is still in question,

i have a printed set of rules provided me by Funjet using Ryan Int Air that says the checked bags are limited to two per person, a maximum of 44lbs total. or 22lbs each. Funjet says these rules are set by Ryan and that information was verified by fax from RYAN in feb 07, although it wasnt a problem, i just was responding to the missinformation remark, I'm not sure to which information that was directed, but this was the rule if you were using Funjet/Ryan it was absolutely correct as of feb 07.

BTW, i didnt use a wetsuit and was comfortable underwater, a little cool on the boat ride back.......

Sigh.....nice shot....wish I was there......

it is hard to say what the airlines will do....but in my experience the charters have SEEMED to me to be more easy to deal with....but I am sure there have been hassles with them....we usually arrive very early and we are at least one of the first in line....not saying that helps but I guess it doesn't hurt.... :D my carryon usually weighs around 30lbs and yes it does fit in the overhead....but our two or three checked bags have always weighed around 50lb ea....:11: maybe I have just been lucky....:blinking:
