There....Ive taken the first step on the road to recovery! Wait a minute. I dont want to recover.

I'm lucky, part of my job is to conduct research on the web for information related to my job. So I just have one window going for that, and one for this .... I just have problems staying in the "work" one and doing what I'm paid to to.... thank goodness for the office connection at home --- sure it make my day longer, but I surf to my heart's content.:)

I am on here daily, I also haven't dove in months. Desperately waiting for the now Ice free water to warm up a few degrees. I am on the verge of draging the tank in the house and breathing off of that while I'm on the board to get a fix!

you can tell whose diving and who isnt by finding the same people here every day. Until it warms up for alot of these people this is there only way to stay sane.

My excuse isnt the cold because i live in California. I took a break from diving and now im putting new tech gear together to update my stuff. Im a $1000 bucks into my upgrades with another $1000 to go. So im dry for another few weeks yet.

This place will be a ghost town during the summer. Just kidding, there is way too much info here to ignore. Be foolish to pass up on all this good info.

Andy
dry for a few more weeks, then i will be diving dry:)

I found this site just days ago and find that I'm coming back way too much. I find a common love for the sport, but since coming here my cabin fever has reached a new high. I find myself thinking about diving more and impatiently waiting for the weather to warm up.

My daily routine:

Arrive at office: 8:00AM
Log on to scubaboard: 8:01AM
Start working: 8:20AM
Log back on to scubaboard: 8:30AM
Go back to working: 8:40AM
Back to scubaboard: 8:50AM
. . . and the pattern continues

And so my day goes.

Scubaboard Anonymics don't have a chance!

It maybe crazy :bonk: But I don't want to be cured!

I think from what I read here, and how MY day at work goes... a lot of employers would be interested in knowing how much time is logged on scubaboard, compared to reviewing annual reports, memos, timesheets, programs......

I'd probably be looking for a new job if mine knew!!
