Anyone familiar with St Thomas or Tortola?....

Hi;

I'm going down to Tortola next month, and am looking for suggestions on quick places to crash in St Thomas and Tortola for one or two nights at a time.

I'm not looking for fancy hotels or anything; just a place to crash with my gear overnight, cheap fleabag hotels or hostel type places in the Charlotte Amalie and Road Town areas.

Nothing is cheap in STT. You can try the 1812 house in town. If you are taking the ferry to Tortola from town you want to stay in that area. You can also try the Best Western. If you are taking the ferry from Red Hook try The Captains Quarters.

I stayed at the Marriot when I was in Stt....not too expensive...make sure to check out the RMS Rhone when in Tortola.....
