I just didn't want anyone to think I've totally fallen off the face of the earth. I've been pretty busy lately with work. If I'm like anybody else around this site I can't wait for the water to warm up. I'm drying up! Does anyone have any wonderful trips planed for this summer? Any upcoming trips to the Bahamas or Cozumel?
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the winter with their drysuits and 7mm wetsuits. I can't wait to meet more people this summer from the SB and go diving again with everyone I've already met from the Vencie trip. Take care all!

Dear lord yes, although the weather this past weekend was just about perfect for spring diving, not to warm so you don't get hot gearing up and helped with the mosquitos, but not so cold that you freeze, to bad the same can't be said about the weather right now! yikes!

Hey, you FL guys should be thankful you're not stuck in the multiple inches of snow that we in the great white northeast are dealing with right now. I don't think it's gone over the freezing mark in 3 weeks! But at least I'll be visiting West Palm in one more month. Can't wait!

- I dunno if I agree with that- I tried that philosophy a couple of weeks ago- scraping ice of my windsheild then jumping in the water- although it felt warm at first-it didn't last long and the surface shock was horrible.
I guess I have been in Florida too long- this cold weather kills me!!!!

Thats why we live in Florida... :monkeydan :)

Why not come down to the Ft Lauderdale area and dive with us. 3-5 mm wetsuit is fine.
Anyone is welcome to " Come On Down "

Water temp. 72-74 degrees.

Well, it was at least 50 degrees this past weekend when we got in the water, not quite ice-scraping weather.

Mandy, you really should hit the east coast to get some warmish water, still in the mid-low 70's i believe from report. I dare say the springs will continue to be around 72 all year as is their habit.

As for my GF and i, we are planning to do local diving all thru the year, not much fear of us having cash to spend on bigger trips, the most extravagant would be a long weekend in the keys (now made easier as my GF's uncle/aunt have just moved to Homestead!!) or maybe one weekend in FT Lauderdale for some beach diving.
