Just wondered if anyone joined either one of the two groups who were planning New Year's Day dives at Fort Wetherill? I didn't go to the OCA dive for the first time in 5 years - was wondering how things went....

A buddy and I were there the day before (Dec 30). The surface conditions were nice, but the vis was bad...about 8'. We entered via the footpath, out to the pinnacle, then returned on the other side of the "finger" up the boat ramp.

I don't know where I put my "gung ho" this winter because I'll admit I wimped out when I saw the weather forecast. 
You didn't miss anything. It was cold and rainy. It was a good time to get togethor with friends.
