Short notice, but anyone diving out at Clear Springs on Saturday? (Anyone, that is, that wouldn't mind an extra buddy tagging along.)
No agenda, but just wanting to get wet again before the water gets altogether too cold to get under. I'm a wetsuit diver, so no telling how
long I'll be able to stand the temp, but I'll bring a camera to document the dive (and I share).
If agreeable, try to post before noon Thursday...I have to head out for the metroplex then and I'll need to know whether to bring the gear or not.
Thanks for the consideration.
Bill

I'll be out there for my Rescue Class...

I will be there. DUI is having their Dog Days there. You can try any of their Dry Suits. Sat. and Sun. No need to dive wet, you don't have to be drysuit certified.
Bill, this would be like having an "insta buddy" for you. If you're not drysuit cert'd, you need to dive in a group headed by an instructor (I think) working the Rally. So a "win-win" situation. You don't need a buddy from here & you get to dive dry. yee haw!

Thanks for the suggestions about attending the "DOG" days...I did that a couple of years ago (still have the cool "DUI" hat...man, talk about getting funny looks and comments when wearing THAT). I enjoyed the experience, but I don't really want to do it again this weekend. While it is fun and interesting, it takes a while to get set up, change out connections, get fitted, and then the dive is pretty short (about 20 minutes as I remember). I'm more in the market for plain, relaxed time underwater.
Thanks for the input, though. It's appreciated!

If doing the DUI thing doesnt sound fun, run south, to say, Bonaire, and join Donna and I... We will do our check out in the am and then a couple in the afternoon...

Water temp should be no problem... 84, and air temp in upper 90s...

Just a thought...

Sorry I had to do that... I really did no matter how bad it was...

Happy Thanksgiving to all...

Charlie and Donna

Okay, Chuck...that was downright mean. Just for that, may your jeep run out of gas, stranding you BETWEEN dive "rocks". May the bar run out of rum, and may all your UW pictures be blurry.

Just kidding. Have a good time and post a good dive report when you get back so the rest of us can live vicariously through you.
Take care and good diving!

Bill
