Anyone been to PV in the last week?

Going to PV next week and wondering if anyone has been lately? If so, how was the diving? Vis, Temp, animal life?
Just trying to decide whether to plan a day of diving or not.
Should I pack my mask/fins/snorkle (rent everything else) or leave it at home?

Just wondering if anyone has recent experience in Puerto Vallarta.

I changed my travel plans and will be there on the 22nd. Hopefully with a lack of tropical storms. Let me know what you found as this will be my first trip there also.
