Looking for a temp at depth. Thinking of going out later this week to search for that airplane - just wondering how chilly she gonna be at 30ft or so.

I dove the Morrison on Friday. The temp was 62* at 30 ft. I wore a 4/3 Bare wetsuit, and was quite comfy in the water for 40+ minutes..

WOW - didn't think it would be that warm - even on the Morrison. The weather buoy is reporting the sea temp as 62.6F, so I thought it would still easily be sub 50F down below. Still, if I go in this week, it will be 7mm john and jacket for me - hood too!!!

Believe me, it was 45 on Sunday. Thank god for stretchy underwear!

LMAO.... Okay... I went back to the wrong dive on my computer to check.... it was 62 in Gullivers lake... ;-)
BUT... I WAS comfy in a 4/3 wet/dry on the Morrison last week... I didn't find it cold at all....

Hey Duffer, lookin for a buddy for next week for that?

I'm working in Toronto now and am set free from Downsview around 3:30pm weekdays. My gear's in Kingston this week but will be with me starting next week. I have a documented cold tolerance so 48°F is positively balmy...........

Possible. I work rotating shifts so I'm off a lot during the week. When I do work days, I'm off at 2:30 so afternoon dives are always a go with me. As I mentioned in the other thread, if I do need folks or am just going out, I'll let people know a few days in advance.
