I searched around on the forum and didn't find too much on the topic, but are some of the Pacific Islands easier / cheaper for an American to retire to? I know quite a few people who have settled down in Central America or Asia, but was curious about some of the island nations.

Anyone have an experience with this, or know of a website that could help with early stage planning?
