Man... ya know.. I had recently purchased a TX100 and being the "I need that new cool thing" kinda guy returned it the day I received it because it just so happened to be the day that the SeaQuest site updated all their info for the new ATX line of regs.

EESH... just my luck... couldn't find the ATX200 or ATX50 anywhere???

So here I am without a reg still wondering if I should have just kept the TX100... 25% lighter and smaller sure sounds good to me..

So.. anyone? Got some good info, are the ATX's that much smaller and lighter that it's worth the wait... or should I re-buy my 100?

I'm really thinking about the ATX50 now with the DIN 1'st stage so I can buy a HP steel tank for some longer bottom times

any input??

Wheezy, Leisure Pro has the ATX 50 and ATX 200. I saw them listed on their website however I can't get on their website right now. Maybe because they are located in New York.

GP....now that you mention that, I too tried to access the LP site.....didn't make the NYC attack connection....

I wonder if their phones are working...

Okay Mario, this is a stickup. Syruss pulls out his safety sausage and EMT shears and holds them in a threatening manner. Give them to me.... I need them.... I have this addiction to diving, and without those I will die.... There is no cure for my disease, I am a cleptodiviac.... :argue:

Okay so that ain't gunna work, will begging have any effect? ;)

The LP website is back up. For some reason they are listing the regs as CTX instead of ATX. I believe that is a misprint because there is no CTX on the Sea Quest website. Any way they are selling the ATX-50 for $274.95 which is only $15.00 more than the old TX-50.

CTX is Different than ATX... the CTX's are the european standard.. DIN setup for steel tanks. ATX refers to either yoke or din but comes with the new 2nd stages that are smaller and lighter.

I called them before I posted this and was told they have NO idea when or if they will get any ATX200's or ATX50's at all and therefore did not even know what the price would be.

I'm just going to play the waiting game... I refuse to give Sport Chalet $670 for the ATX200 when I know Diveinn and Leisurepro will have it for less than $400...

I just wanted to know if anyone has actually used one and if the difference is signifigant and worth the money and wait.

MARIO: How much? If it's a smoking deal I might take you up on it and say forget the ATX line... drop me an email when you get a chance...

Thanks guys/gals

I emailed Apeks and they said the ATX50 and the CTX50 are identical. They are just sold in different markets. I just recieved my CTX50 from Leisure Pro. Sure enough, the regulator has the new smaller profile and a yoke (not DIN). The only difference is the purge button says ctx50 not atx50.

I have not tried it out yet.

This isn't the place to buy or sell gear... but you can e-mail me an offer and I'll take a look. I'm sure I can make someone a nice deal on it. ;)

sorry about that Mario... didn't know.. :D

I'll send you an email
