Anybody want to join me on Mr. C this Saturday, July 17?

I've been invited to go out on Mr. C this Saturday for a day trip, out to Catalina area. I'm thinking of doing it - I just bought a new underwater camera rig, and I'm dying to take it out.

I've been on Mr. C before, although it's been a while. It goes out of San Pedro. 3 dives, air fills and food included - if I recall correctly, Mr. C has a BBQ grill and offers burgers and chicken sandwiches.

Anybody want to join me? :blinking:

Would love to try the Mr. C again. It was sold not to long ago and the new owner has made some nice improvements on it.
But, I am already signed up to go out on the Great Escape this Saturday. It is docked close to Mr. C at 22nd street landing. 3 dives, air, lots of good food, plenty of bunks, 4 showers (hot), and 2 heads. Weather looks like it will be great and the report is that the VIS over at Catalina is pretty good. I checked the VIS around a few sites in palos verdes yesterday and it was still not so good, ocean conditions were looking good though.

Well if our two boats pass each other, we can wave! I'd heard that Mr. C was sold, happy to hear it's had some improvements. I'll post a review after I go out.

Awwwww......Mr C. Got my AOW on that boat. Definitely give a report on updated boat this weekend.

Nice memories of both boats. I certified a lot of divers on the Mr C and went to the pre-auction party. Glad to hear of the improvements.

I'll give a wave as well Leejnd. Hopefully we can get together on another trip. I would like to try the Magician on a Friday.
When I checked the Mr. C schedule she was going out on Saturday, July 24, so I went with the Great Escape for July 17 as last Saturday July 10th they canceled due to lack divers.
I really need to get out in the water to try some of this new gear I bought.
Let us know how your new underwater camera rig works out.

Well I'm hoping Mr. C doesn't cancel - I was told that some small group dropped so they need a few more divers. C'mon, folks - who wants to go?

Next Sunday I'm on Peace with a charter for Underwater Photography Guide, and I'd like to give my new camera a couple shake-out dives before then. So I'm hoping for this Saturday on Mr. C!

I certified and got my AOW from Mr. C, and then I went on the better boats for the last three years. However, Mr. C is under new owner and it's turning out to be a decent boat. They repaintef the boat and it doesn't stink like it used to any more. The air fill station is still a pain in the wazoo, but I think that the crew is coming out with some sort of tagging system so that they wouldn't miss fills any more. The galley cook...how shall I say this? Oooh lala!!! A super hot Swedish blondie who can cook. I'd go on Mr. C again just for that.
