I'm looking for a good Olympus point and shoot camera. I've been eying the 6020. Any feedback? I see it has supermacro, anybody know if the flash works with the supermacro setting (my previous olympus 5060 did not have the flash option for supermacro, which i hated)?
I would appreciate any feedback, I'm looking to simplify so a point and shoot with no manual settings should work. If the 6020 sucks, any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

No, the flash doesn't work in super macro mode. but the Oly's do pretty well in macro.

Supermacro in the 8010/6020 has a white light LED illuminator that works in supermacro mode. Unfortuneatly, it is blocked by the crappy Oly PT-048 housing design. I found this out the hard way....

I have a 6020 as the successor to my prior 720. I love the fact that the camera is small and the housing is small; the entire setup disappears on your gear, and will even fit in bigger pockets. I also love that the camera will not die if the housing leaks, because housings inevitably eventually will. I found the camera easy to learn and the functions easy to use and change underwater.

It's a good camera for snapshots and casual photos, but more expensive equipment does take better pictures. My husband has seduced me into upgrading; if you want a 6020, I have one for sale, with housing and strobe.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I think I'll look around a bit to see if something may work better for me than the 6020.
