I have my own boat and am looking for any wrecks with mooring balls around Fort Lauderdale area. Anyone know of any?

SS Copenhagen is a little North of Ft Lauderde, but it is the only wreck I know of in the area with mooring balls.

Thanks for the info Eeel. I have done at least a dozen or more dives off my boat on the Copenhagen since your post.
Very recently I have noticed what appears to be private marker buoys in the vicinity of the Jay Scutti and maybe the Edmister. Does anybody know anything about these? I would love to dive them, but without mooring balls, it makes it impractical.

Here is a really thorough list of dive sites in our area:

Unfortunately, as best as I can tell from my own personal experience and Googling, the Copenhagen is the only wreck with mooring buoys near us. There are some great ones in the Keys. I am sure I have done at least 100 dives on the Spiegel Grove alone. Even some of the wrecks in The Bahamas have buoys. I wish they would add them to the Jay Scutti, Jim Attria and others around here.
