BTW, I made a post earlier on another thread about laying off of a guy for his spelling errors, but he was not going into specops. Also, I will not be able to reply to any posts about this for two weeks, maybe less. Going to Roatan tomorrow!

Physically yes, acadenically no. As an E-6 part of his evaluations are based on his ability to commuicate which includes ability to write.

I did a total of 14 years between active duty and reserves in the army as a leg. I finally hung it up as the deployments were to hard on my family and wearing thin on me. I have served on a swat team for about the last 4 years now.
We train with several different agencies and ocasionally with the military special ops such as SEALS and Army Special Forces. All in all it has been a great experience.
My favorite saying from the army will always be, "ok men, move out and draw fire"
