anybody heard anything about the new sp-570 uz

I bought the 560.
I have no intention of taking it underwater.
I'll upgrade my underwater camera after I get back from Okinawa in April.

Is the Olympus housing better than the others and what flash is compatable with it? I just ordered my SP-560 this am $289.00 was best price I found cant wait till it gets here

It's not a matter of Oly housing being "better." They are certainly cheaper than Ikelite. I paid the same as you did and got the Oly housing from B&H for about the same price as the camera.

Some of the other reasons I went with the Oly housing. But I have to admit, the PT-037 is quite a bit bigger than the PT-027 is. I had a hard time fitting it into the case where I carry it and some other camera housing stuff. It had to be put in exactly a certain way.

On the Olympus Singapore website OLYMPUS Imaging Singapore at the Features page of 570UZ, it says "Better low light and underwater shooting thanks to BrightCapture Technology"
Is it reason to be hopeful?

Hmm. Maybe they are re-configuring? It's strange because on Olympus America's website the spec have the scene modes but UW isn't mentioned. Also, they don't have the uw housing listed as an accessory but on the 560 they do

Aww. Thank you. I have a lot more but I won't bore you. Well how about this one? Anyway, for the frog fish photo I used the internal flash and the UW scene macro setting. I have since done some tweaking in photoshop since I put this one on my website, but this is it out of the camera. I found the recharge time to be a lot faster than the Oly 7070. I really didn't find it to be that frustrating at all.
